Project Overview
This project, aims to examine the speeches of Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister of Pakistan. By employing various natural language processing (NLP) techniques, the analysis uncovers recurring topics, emotional tone, and lexical diversity within the speeches, providing a deeper understanding of the themes and sentiments expressed during Khan's tenure.
The dataset consists of 67 speeches delivered across multiple events, covering topics such as governance, foreign policy, economic development, and Pakistan’s socio-political landscape. Key methods used in the analysis include preprocessing, tokenization, and lemmatization to prepare the text data
The results revealed five main topics in the speeches, showing a generally positive sentiment that fluctuated over time. Lexical diversity analysis highlighted changes in vocabulary richness, with notable shifts in 2021 and 2022.
